Today in the SAILOR history: Wiehl-Bielstein 1999, Mainz 2005

  • Mood:

It's 10 years ago that SAILOR - then in the line-up with Peter, Henry, Phil and Grant - played in Wiehl-Bielstein, Germany, today. The concert was an open air Oldie Night with SAILOR, Chip Hawkes, Middle Of The Road (with Sally Carr) and The Troggs.
It also happened to be the last concert with Henry Marsh before he left SAILOR later in 1999. But we didn't know this then. And neither did we ever guess that he'd return in August 2005..
We had a great time at this concert and met many nice fans there - among them Christel, Andreas, Heiner, Michael, Gerd and also Lody and Pieter from Holland.

Today it's also 4 years ago that SAILOR - this time in the line-up with Peter, Rob, Phil and Grant - performed their new version of "Karma Chameleon" (to be found on SAILOR's original "Buried Treasure" CD boxed set) at the German TV show "Fernsehgarten" in Mainz.
