Today in the SAILOR history: Kirchheim 1997

It's 12 years ago that SAILOR - then in the line-up with Peter, Henry, Phil and Grant - played in Kirchheim, Germany, today.
The concert was meant to be a huge open air Oldie Night but ended up being moved into the town's small tennis hall (due to various other big events in and around town that got a lot of attention). What did we learn from this? Never use the same sound system that was planned for a big open air event in a small hall - it might be a bit too loud.
Despite all of this (expect the unexpected!) we had a great time with all the other fans, and SAILOR played a marvellous set at the very end of the day! It was also the day when our friend Christel took the famous photo which later became the cover photo for the original release of the "Live In Berlin" CD.
