As you might remember from previous entries in which I got upset about this, SAILOR will play in Osnabrück at the disco "Alando Palais" at an "over-40-party" tomorrow.
The local promoter and the venue both told me (as well as other fans) that I would not be allowed in on this occasion because I'm too young.
This is not only the most ridiculous rule I've ever heard (normally these parties also allow younger people in wherever I've seen these topics for parties and concerts - this is the first time people are discriminated against like this), but it has also caused a lot of confusion.
The other promoter/agent who is involved with this show had e-mailed me about it many months ago and has also promised to put us on the guest list. So, when this problem came up, I asked him again. No reply. Phil Pickett tried to helo but got the same reply: The rules of the venue have to be respected. So he also said that there was nothing they could do.
Then, suddenly, the venue e-mailed to say that - oh my god - I was really the webmaster of this homepage here (as if I had made that up in my request) and that it might be ok to turn up if the band confirmed that I could go in. Maybe.
In any case I decided that it would be ridiculous to travel 3 hours one way for a "maybe" and so much trouble. All journey plans were cancelled. And so were all plans for what was to become a big Sailor fan meeting with so many great friends at this even tomorrow night.

And just NOW I had an e-mail from the promoter/agent, giving me hotel info and flight times and all for tomorrow.
What on earth...??! Aaaaaaaargh...
Oh no. Too late.
No understanding, no grasp for this!!
So this is one that will forever be missing on my list and remembered if, one day, the band stops to exist.
Oh, and the Sweet concert we meant to go to instead tomorrow got cancelled at the last minute. At least we got the information on time. Thanks Sweet Pete!
